Police ask more victims to come forward following Ottery burglary

Following a burglary at Ottery, the police have pleaded to residents that have been victims of crime, to come forward and inform the police.

This plea by the neighbourhood policing team of Ottery was made after a Claremont Field property was broken into between Saturday, 24 January and Sunday, 25 January. During the investigations, the police discovered that thieves had broken into a vehicle parked in the area, but the incident had not been reported to them.

The burglars escaped with a video camera and laptop from the Claremont Field property.

The police have urged all residents to report any information on the burglary. They have also requested all other victims of crime, big or small, to come forward and report any information that can help the police with their investigations.

With the recent increase in the number of burglaries, it has never been more essential to ensure the protection and safety of belongings at your home. Your home should be a place that you feel safe and comfortable in with your belongings protected. To help you protect all your valuables such as computers, jewellery and paintings, home safes are available in different sizes. These security safes for your home are effective in preventing thefts and deterring burglars.
