Smart ways for hiding your security safes

A wall safe should never be hidden behind a picture frame or mirror. It is the first place any burglar will check out. Just buying a good security safe is not enough to safeguard its contents. It must have a discreet location. If you want to install a wall security safe, the best place to put it is in a wall that is camouflaged to look like the rest of the room. It is safest behind a door or in a panel that is painted to appear as a part of the room.

Floor security safes should not be left uncovered as it makes them easily penetrable. To ensure better safety for floor security safes, covering it up with a heavy object makes more it difficult to find it before it can be opened. Since floor security safes are accessible only through the door, it will take longer for burglars to find and open it.

A safe is not always safe just because it is hidden. A security safe of mediocre quality is accessible in a wall and under a floor whether hidden properly or not. It is best to invest in a safe that is of good quality rather than buying one that is cheap but of poor quality. Although good quality safes may be a little more expensive when compared to others, it is a safer place to put valuables and important documents in. In addition to that, hiding it in a place where it is least expected to be will increase the security measures.
