Your personal safety deposit box at home or in the office

A burglary whether at home or at a business is a devastating incident. It not only results in the loss of important or valuable items but can also make the victims feel vulnerable. Many people prefer to safeguard their valuables by keeping them in a safe deposit box in their bank. However, this can be a little inconvenient if you want or need access to them often. In such cases, the best investments are wall safes.

These safes can be installed at home or in the office and are very effective at providing people with the perfect place they can secure their important items and valuables. Wall safes are fixed between studs in walls and most wall safes have flanges which eliminate the need to re-plaster walls.

It is important though, to check the safes rating before you purchase the safe. This is to ensure that you get a safe that will suit your needs completely. Safes are rated in three categories A, B and C, the first rating can withstand fire of 2,000 degrees for four hours, the second can withstand a 1,850 degree fire for two hours and the third a fire of 1,000 degrees for an hour.

These safes are great for paper documents or other valuables but not for computer equipment. There are other safes available for that purpose. Wall safes are available in various sizes and depending on the model you choose, the lock on your wall safe can be a key, electronic lock or combination.
