Chubbsafes Cobra
For many small retailers and businesses the requirement is to store a low level of cash and valuables (for example £2000 - £4000). Safes such as the Sovereign Elite and Sovereign would exceed their security objectives.

With its spacious interior, innovative quality features (e.g. 30 minutes document fire protection) and unrivalled reliability you might be tempted to think there must be a catch somewhere. Quality Features
Testing Tested and certified by the Loss Prevention Certification Board to standard LPCB 1228.

Locking The Cobra range is secured by a single, high security, double bitted key lock and mechanical combination as standard. Key lock and electronic keypad is also available as an option.
Body and barrier The entire body has an effective barrier thickness of 65mm. It is made up of an inner and outer body of steel encasing a Chubbsafes high density barrier material.
Door The door is constructed from a 10mm steel plate with additional protection over the locking cover.
Boltwork Moving, 28.5 mm diameter, solid steel bolts on the front edge of the door engage securely into the safe body. Fixed bolts on the rear edge of the door locate behind a solid rebate bar and secure the rear of the door into the body of the safe. The boltwork is further protected by an anti-explosion device to ensure bolts remain firmly in place should an attack on the lock occur.
Base fixing A steel bush is welded in the safe base to accept a Chubb-specified high tensile, heavy duty anchor bolt.
Cash rating Recommended cash rating for the Cobra is £4000. Approved by the Association of Burglary Insurance Surveyors.
Jewellery rating As a general rule, the cash rating is multiplied by a factor of 10 so a Cobra Size 3 with a cash rating of £4000 will allow for storing jewellery worth £40,000 in domestic situations.
Size The Cobra is available in five sizes.
Finish The safe is finished in a light grey texture. Escutcheons, combination dials, keypad and handle are finished in black.
Standard Fittings Size 1 has no internal fittings, Size 2 has one adjustable shelf and sizes 3-5 have one adjustable shelf and a lockable drawer.
